STEM is the buzz word around schools this year as the government have funded many new resources to support this integrated learning approach. Home Economics naturally integrates STEM (add arts and you get STEAM), yet are not often recogised for this. This twilight session will explore the concept of STEAM and practical skills that can be used in the classroom in relation to foods. Hear from a teacher who created a STEM project for her students linking with the industry.
